Fund for the Shrine of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá
Following the call of the Universal House of Justice for universal participation in contributing to the Fund for the Shrine of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, the National Spiritual Assembly has been delighted by the response of the friends so far. Many individuals, communities and Local Assemblies are known to be considering their contributions or have pledged amounts.
To date, more than 100 individuals as well as six Local Assemblies and groups have between them contributed a total of almost £111,000, to add to the £100,000 that the National Spiritual Assembly announced it is to send to the Universal House of Justice as an initial contribution to the Shrine, following the Holy Day for the Ascension of Bahá’u’lláh on 29 May. The National Assembly will keep the friends updated as the total grows over the next few days.
