Summer Intensive Training – registration now open

The task force for this summer’s intensive training is delighted to announce that registration is now open!

With this, we would like to communicate some key features of this year’s training to you.

Firstly, we are continuously trying to refine the training so it meets its aim of helping enable its participants to readily and effectively respond to the latest call from the Universal House of Justice and work towards the new Five Year Plan. With this in mind the training should be seen as part of a wider process in motion throughout our whole region rather than a stand-alone event. This implies the assistance of individuals before, during, and after the training, by other friends, institutions, and the task force but also a level of coherence with the other activities and efforts of the community.

Secondly, a diversity of service elements will run alongside the study circles, as encouraged by the Ruhi sequence itself. These acts of service will provide training and experience for participants, which can be inspired and gain confidence to initiate new activities in their home communities or assist in current ones.

  • Finally, we look forward to your assistance in a number of areas. Please:
  • Share with us your own experience of attending intensive training and benefits you derived thereof;
  • Encourage other members of the community to attend the training;
  • Contribute to the learning environment as a participant or a tutor;
  • Offer ideas/suggestions for the training (including practice opportunities which participants could undertake after the training).

If you feel inspired to take part in this year’s summer intensive training, registration for the summer training can be found here:
