To all believers in the United Kingdom

Dearly loved Friends,

Bahá’í Review

The National Spiritual Assembly would like to remind the friends of the necessity of submitting for pre-publication review any Bahá’í literature, articles or audio-visual items which are to be sold or circulated widely. The purpose of review is to ensure that the Faith is not misrepresented and to ensure the dignity and accuracy of the presentation of the material. There are three principal points of contact for the review panels, depending on the nature of the materials:

Literature: Mr. Peter Hulme. Email: lit.review@bahai.org.uk

Audio-visual items, including video and digital presentations, music (where words are an integral part of the production), recorded talks, storytelling, poetry, visual images, jewellery, and souvenir items: Mrs. Margaret Appa, The Mill House, Ecclesden Lane, Angmering BN16 4DQ. Email: margaretappa@gmail.com

Academic: Dr. Nazila Ghanea. Email: nghanea@yahoo.co.uk

Please would you ensure, when submitting an item for review, that the panel concerned has adequate time to complete a proper review process. If you are unsure how long a period would be necessary, please contact the appropriate panel well in advance.

It is hoped that the above information will be of assistance to you in your efforts to serve our beloved Cause through your writing, academic and artistic endeavours.

Thank you for your kind attention to this matter.

With loving Bahá’í greetings,

Patrick O’Mara,
Secretary
