To all believers in the United Kingdom

Dearly loved Friends,

The project to organise the National Library, an important feature of the Institution of the National Ḥazíratu’l-Quds – which we announced to you on 12 December 2016 [SRL-23413.H] – has been progressing well. The books are now sorted into categories, a classification scheme has been set up, and a significant advance has been made in the cataloguing of the collection.

The next stage of the project is to complete the cataloguing process. It is anticipated that this may take around one month, or the equivalent number of days spread out over a slightly longer period. The National Spiritual Assembly is keen to hear from friends who would be willing to come in to the National Ḥazíratu’l-Quds to assist with this task. You should have basic ability in working with Excel spreadsheets, a passion for books, as well as sufficient knowledge to recognise significant names from Bahá’í history that may be inscribed in them.

Volunteers are also sought to devote one weekend in November to assist with further tasks associated with sorting and consolidating the collection.

If you would be willing to serve the National Assembly through this special project, please write to nsa@bahai.org.uk.

With loving Bahá’í greetings,

Patrick O’Mara,
Secretary
