Persian carpet – sale for the Fund

As a follow up to the NEWS announcement dated 26 September 2016 concerning the sale of the Persian carpets which were kindly donated by a friend in his Will to be sold as a contribution to the Bahá’í International Fund, we are pleased to share the following update on the carpets that are still available:

These carpets have been kept in a storage for several months and need to be washed and mothballed before they are used. They are to be collected from London. To facilitate the process of transporting the carpets, it might be helpful to know that there are several rug cleaning companies in the London area that are able to pick up a carpet from its current location, provide cleaning, and deliver it to your address.
Please write to the Office of the Treasurer (finance@bahai.org.uk) or by post to 27 Rutland Gate, London SW7 1PD with your offer for the carpet. The highest offer will be accepted and the money will go to the Bahá’í International Fund.
