Prison visiting – guidelines

Dearly loved Friends,

The National Spiritual Assembly is aware that a small number of the believers either correspond with or visit individuals serving prison sentences, with a view to providing them with pastoral care or deepening or teaching them the Faith.

As part of our duty of care to the Bahá’í community, we ask that before making contact, or further contact, with any prisoner, the believers should contact the National Assembly by writing to nsa@bahai.org.uk for advice and guidance. This will help to ensure both the just treatment of the prisoners and the safety of the friends.
