To all believers in the United Kingdom

Dearly loved Friends,

At this very moment, youth from across the country are making their way to the Youth Conference in Warwick, a precious gift bestowed by the Universal House of Justice and one of 114 such conferences taking place across the globe at its divine behest.  They will be joined by youth from our sister communities in the Republic of Ireland, Iceland, Malta, and Gibraltar.  All those attending will have a unique opportunity to learn together, steel themselves for heroic, life-long exertions in the path of service, and bend their energies towards reviving the fortunes of a society that is at once broken and bewildered.  We look forward with tremendous excitement to this auspicious gathering, which will surely help tap the “reservoirs of energy and devotion that the youth possess” and enhance the capacity of Bahá’í and like-minded youth, and through them the capacity of the community as a whole, to fulfil the spiritual mission of this Day.

It gives us great pleasure to announce that over 1,000 people have registered to attend the conference with approximately one fifth coming from the community of interest, which is a truly wonderful achievement!  We ask the friends on these islands to join us in fervent prayer over the spiritually charged coming days, as we beseech the Blessed Beauty to aid the youth in their efforts and grant them His celestial confirmations.

With our warmest love and appreciation,

National Spiritual Assembly
Patrick O’Mara,
Secretary
