Reflections on speech

The contribution that freedom of speech makes towards the advancement of society is today centre stage. Current concerns range across a spectrum from censorship to hate speech. This reflection piece, published by the UK Office of Public Affairs, stresses that the need to reflect together on the purpose of dialogue, as well as the manner in which we converse, has never been more urgent.
