English Summer Schools dates for 2020

Dearest Friends,
‘The institution of the Summer School constitutes a vital and inseparable part of any teaching campaign, and as such ought to be given the full importance it deserves in the teaching plans and activities of the believers. It should be organized in such a way as to attract the attention of the non-believers to the Cause and thus become an effective medium for teaching. Also, it should afford the believers themselves an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the Teachings, through lectures and discussions and by means of close and intense community life.’

The Bahá’í Council for England sends you its warmest love and greetings in sharing with you the following information regarding the English Summer Schools 2020. We encourage all the friends, together with their families, friends, contacts and those participating in the community building activities, to consider their plans for the summer in light of these spiritually inspiring and capacity-building spaces.
Southern Summer School:
Location: Culford School, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP28 6TX
Dates: 18th-23rd August 2020
(We return to Culford School which has been refurbished since it last hosted the southern Summer School.)
Northern Summer School:
Location: Queen Ethelburga’s College, York (TBC)
Dates: 21st-26th August 2020
It would be wonderful if you could mark these dates in your diaries; more information and registration details will be sent out to the community in due course. The Council eagerly anticipates this year’s Summer Schools and looks forward to warmly welcoming you to these rejuvenating, reflective and inspiring spaces.
