Dearly loved Friends,

The National Spiritual Assembly is seeking assistance in relation to the redevelopment and management of the website of Bahá’í Books UK – https://www.bahaibooks.org.uk/.

An individual is sought with the ability to reconceptualise the website to build upon Bahá’í Books UK’s provision of literature to Bahá’ís, community of interest members, seekers and those organising teaching campaigns and projects.  No technical web-building skills will be necessary for this post, although the National Assembly would also be grateful to hear from any web developers and designers who may assist in this project.

The individual should have:

  • a passion for Bahá’í literature and enthusiasm for new publications
  • familiarity with the materials, processes and needs of the Five Year Plan;
  • awareness of online book outlets, Bahá’í and otherwise;
  • knowledge of the various platforms on which literature is now available, eg: electronic books, audiobooks, downloadable PDFs, websites, etc.

Once complete, the website will require someone who can maintain it, present and promote the stock in attractive ways, and keep the content up-to-date and appealing.  This could be the same or indeed a separate person to that outlined above, so offers for this ongoing work would also be appreciated.

If you feel able to assist in this exciting project, kindly contact the National Spiritual Assembly at nsa@bahai.org.uk.

With loving Bahá’í greetings,

Patrick O’Mara
Secretary
