Planning and communication skills, coupled with an ability to motivate others, are highly desirable. He or she should enjoy cleaning and have an appreciation for a beautiful environment. A valid driver’s license is required.

Supervisory Position in the Department of Security
The Department of Security is responsible for the protection of Baha’i World Centre properties and personnel through the services of young Baha’i volunteers and trained local guards as well as technical security systems. Individuals with relevant experience, a background in public safety, law enforcement or other related fields, and who have good management and organizational skills are being sought to fill supervisory positions.

The Painter and Plasterer attends to Baha’i World Centre flats, offices and Holy Places. General painting and plastering skills are required. Must have a current driver’s licence for manual transmission vehicles.

‘Akka Guard Manager
The ‘Akka Guard Manager oversees the Baha’i and Israeli guards and the day-to- day security operations in the ‘Akka area. The Manager should foster a culture of learning whereby teams of employees and volunteers become empowered to create and evaluate new procedures. He or she will work to build and maintain interdepartmental relationships that improve the quality of operations and develop collaborative capacity. The Manager will facilitate group action planning meetings, among other things, to achieve these aims. A valid driver’s license is required.

The primary responsibilities of the Project Architect are to coordinate, manage and execute construction projects. Tasks associated with these responsibilities include the development of conceptual designs, preparation of construction documents and construction administration. This individual should have a degree in architecture with some years of experience working as an architect, as well as advanced skills with Auto CAD and other 3D modelling software programmes.
