The National Spiritual Assembly is delighted to share with you the news that the film Dawn of the Light, commissioned by the Universal House of Justice for the bicentenary of the Birth of the Báb, is now available for download.

Announcing the release of the film, the Universal House of Justice has expressed its hope that, “on the occasion of the two hundredth anniversary of the Birth of the Báb, as well as in the years to come, this film will help to attract the hearts and minds of thousands upon thousands to the Cause of Bahá’u’lláh.”1 With this in mind, the National Spiritual Assembly wholeheartedly urges the friends to consider every possible setting in which the film can be shared.
Dawn of the Light is part of an ongoing process of the movement of populations towards the vision of Bahá’u’lláh. The training institute – with its power to connect souls to the Word of God – is at the heart of this movement. For study circle tutors, children’s class teachers, junior youth animators, and friends hosting devotional meetings, the film is an ideal instrument to engage large numbers of souls in conversations that invite them to make their contribution to building the world that the Báb and Bahá’u’lláh envisaged. It could also be shown during home visits and firesides; screenings could be offered to community groups, schools, colleges and university clubs and societies. A number of communities are already planning to show the film in public cinemas.
To explore further the use of the film and the framing of conversations that can be held around it, the National Assembly is planning a series of webinars which will be announced in due course.
It is the National Assembly’s ardent hope that all of the friends will make full use of this inspiring gift from the Universal House of Justice to take our teaching efforts during this period of special potency to a new level of intensity and effectiveness.
