Fund for the Shrine of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá
The National Spiritual Assembly is delighted to share with you the news that, following the Holy Day for the Ascension of Bahá’u’lláh, the number of individuals who contributed to the Fund for the Shrine of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá totalled 356, while 56 Local Spiritual Assemblies and Groups also sent donations.
This raised a total of £300,000 to add to the £100,000 that the National Spiritual Assembly had already decided to send to the Universal House of Justice as its initial contribution towards the Shrine.
With profound gratitude, the National Assembly hopes that all of the friends, of all ages, will continue to reflect upon the blessings that come from universal participation and the unique and historic privilege that is ours to contribute to the raising of the Beloved Master’s Shrine.
