Online memorial meetings from the European House of Worship

In response to the request of the Universal House of Justice for memorial programmes to be held in every House of Worship honouring Farzam Arbab, Douglas Martin and Violette Haake, the National Spiritual Assembly of Germany has announced dates for services to be held at the Mother Temple of Europe, which will be live-streamed to enable all to participate.

Memorial in honour of Violette Haake 
Saturday 31 October 1600hrs (Central European Time)

Memorial in honour of Farzam Arbab
Saturday 14 November 1600hrs (CET)

Memorial in honour of Douglas Martin
Saturday 28 November 1600hrs (CET)

Each devotional will be followed by a commemorative programme which will also only be available online.  Both the memorial service and the subsequent  programme will be accessible through the YouTube channel of the German Bahá’í community.


New collection on race unity published on Elevate

 A new collection of resources exploring race unity, titled Pupil of the Eye, has just been published on the Elevate website and is available here.

Elevate is a platform of resources that support a growing movement to develop spiritual consciousness and the capacity to serve society.  Profound passages are curated to foster elevated conversations, encourage the exploration of timeless spiritual values and fundamental questions, while celebrating their intellectual and creative expression.

Launch of Elevate Create

 The National Spiritual Assembly has expressed its hope of seeing a flowering of the arts in all aspects of community life at this testing time.  To this end, Elevate Create has now been launched, intended as a resource and inspiration bank, suggesting creative pursuits, sharing artistic offerings and ideas that can be used or adapted to suit the needs of the community or a particular activity.
