Dearly loved Friends,
In a letter of 11 April 2016, the National Spiritual Assembly shared its intention to set up a photographic bank hosted at the National Office. We are pleased to share that the National Assembly has decided to extend this arrangement to include recorded materials of Bahá’í events and activities, such as community gatherings, summer schools, intensive training, teaching and community building efforts or other projects connected with service to the Cause. These materials may then be used in preparing audio-visual materials, such as presentations, in the future.
We are delighted to share that preparations are now in place to receive photographs, which can be sent to ukmediabank@bahai.org.uk
Arrangements will soon be in place to receive videos, and further details will be announced shortly in this regard. In the meantime, we warmly encourage the friends bear this in mind and to look for opportunities to make suitable recordings, especially in relation to the many events planned this summer.
Mrs. Manijeh Afnan-Murray and Mr. Dariush Rashidi have kindly agreed to manage the photographic and audio-visual materials on behalf of the National Assembly, and we are deeply grateful to them for undertaking this service.
The National Assembly looks forward to developing a collection of photographic and audio-visual materials of the community, and it thanks you in advance for your contributions to this endeavour.
