Dearly loved friends,

We are pleased to share with you a letter dated 1 October 2015 written on behalf of the Universal House of Justice to a National Spiritual Assembly in Europe concerning the recent influx of migrants and refugees into that continent. The letter sets out the relevant principles that guide the response of the Bahá’í community to these dramatic social changes. Of course we should be mindful that the reality in every national and local Bahá’í community is considerably different, and this must be borne in mind when reflecting on this guidance.

We would encourage groups of Bahá’ís, together with friends and family, to come together to read and study this letter and to reflect on the guidance and wisdom contained in it.

With loving Bahá’í greetings,

Patrick O’Mara,
Secretary
