The Bahá’í Council for England

Dearly loved friends,

The Bahá’í Council for England is delighted to share that we have almost surpassed 250 registrations for Northern Summer School at Queen Ethelburgas!

We have extended registration for residential and course attendees to midnight this evening (Monday 24th July). For those that would like to register, please do so urgently today as we are required by the venue to give final numbers by tomorrow morning for room allocation and catering.

The only exception to this are day visitors not requiring meals e.g. those coming to afternoon or evening plenary sessions, or Introduction to the Bahá’í Faith session. In this scenario, the deadline is extended to end of this week (Friday, 28th July).

All day visitors must register before attending or unfortunately they will not be able to attend.

The registration link again: http://www.bahaievents.org.uk/wp/english-summer-school-2017/

If you would like to attend as a day visitor and unable to register before this evening please email Alan or Marion at alanandmarion@talktalk.net by Friday as the computer booking system for the Northern School will cease to be used after this evening.

Some other related announcements:

  • The Bookshop: The bookshop will only be able to accept cash or cheques
  • Sports: Please don’t forget sports gear as well as swim wear for swimming pool
  • Arts/Music: Friends who play music are encouraged to bring musical instruments for courses, devotionals and evening program.
  • Tea/Coffee: Feel free to bring your own tea, coffee, milk/milk alternative, sugar etc. because there are full kitchen facilities in everyone’s en-suite room.
  • We will be having a ceilidh one evening so feel free to bring your kilt if you have one!

With abiding love to you all,

Ronnie Y. Bindra
