Volunteers sought for Afnán Library
The Afnán Library – based in Sandy, Bedfordshire – is seeking a volunteer to catalogue its Persian and Arabic books.  The Afnán Library was set up under the terms of the will of the Hand of the Cause of God Hasan Balyúzí.  Further volunteers are required for such tasks as cataloguing English-language archives.

Expressions of interest would be welcomed from friends who know English and Persian, and are able to read Arabic book titles.  Knowledge of the Bahá’í transliteration system would also be helpful since details of books are entered in the catalogue using that system.  Please contact the library by email at info@afnanlibrary.org

UK Bahá’í Histories
Have you thought about writing your Bahá’í story?  The UK Bahá’í Histories website gathers together the stories of how friends in the United Kingdom became Bahá’ís.  More than 300 stories have now been published. Friends from all over the world are discovering stories that tell of the excitement of becoming a Bahá’í, that record precious moments spent with Hands of the Cause of God, involvement in the Plans and activities of the community.

Your story is interesting to others, and a valuable part of our national Bahá’í history.  To send in your story, or for further guidance as to how to go about it, please email bhp1uk@gmail.com or telephone Jenny Lockwood on 01242 676597.
