Dear Bahá’í friends,
We are writing to invite you to contribute, as individuals and communities, to a world-wide social media campaign to mark the upcoming seventh anniversary of the incarceration of the Yaran. Scheduled from 14 – 20 May, the campaign’s theme is “Seven Days in Remembrance of Seven Years for the Seven Bahá’í Leaders”.
Each day of the campaign will focus on a particular member of the Yaran, beginning with Mahvash Sabet as she was the first to be arrested. The remaining members will be commemorated in alphabetical order as follows:
14 May: Mahvash Sabet
15 May: Fariba Kamalabadi
16 May: Jamaloddin Khanjani
17 May: Afif Naeimi
18 May: Saeid Rezaie
19 May: Behrouz Tavakkoli
20 May: Vahid Tizfahm
The campaign will be based around a Facebook event page, hosted by the Bahai International Community, which we invite you to join. It is available for you to post directly to and share at the following URL:

You are invited to share your own remembrances and other motivating contributions by posting directly to this Facebook page your commemoration of any one or all members. Photographs and videos, as well as remembrances and inspirational stories can be shared, and remembrances of any particular member of the seven can be posted on the corresponding days of the campaign listed above. Please ensure that your posts to the event page include the hashtag:

A corresponding Persian language Facebook event page has been created and can be accessed at the following URL:

Efforts will also be made to translate the English posts into Persian on an ongoing basis. If you wish to create Persian language posts, we kindly request you to post directly to the Persian event page as well, using the Persian hashtag:

You may begin posting right away; however, the majority of items, especially those in honor of each member of the Yaran should be posted during the campaign on the respective days listed above.
