To all believers in the United Kingdom

Dearly loved Friends,

As you will be aware, the National Spiritual Assembly recently collaborated with the Regional Board of Ḥuqúqu’lláh to revise its guidance notes – Making your Will, Notes for Solicitors preparing wills for Bahá’ís and Guidance notes for Executors – to help the friends make provision for the payment of Ḥuqúqu’lláh in their wills and to provide guidance for executors in accordance with both Bahá’í and civil law.  In response to this important development, the Board will shortly be reaching out to all Local Assemblies and Groups to offer to accompany the friends as they study these documents to understand more fully how to include Ḥuqúqu’lláh in their wills.

Whether you are considering preparing your will for the first time or already have one in place, you are encouraged to participate in these sessions to help to increase your understanding of Ḥuqúqu’lláh.  If you are unable to attend a local community meeting, please feel free to contact the Ḥuqúqu’lláh Board or representative in your area and they will be happy to offer a private meeting or home visit to discuss Ḥuqúqu’lláh in relation to your will.

It is the hope of the National Assembly that all of the friends will avail themselves of the wonderful opportunity to learn more about the supreme bounty given to us by Bahá’u’lláh to observe the law of Ḥuqúqu’lláh.

With loving Bahá’í greetings,

Patrick O’Mara,
Secretary
