Huqúqu’lláh regional conference
The Deputy Trustees and their Representatives for the Institution of Huqúqu’lláh gathered in Manchester on 6-7 October 2018 for their annual Regional Conference. They were joined by a representative of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Ireland, two Auxiliary Board members, a member of the Bahá’í Council for England, and representatives of all three Spiritual Assemblies in the greater Manchester area. Participants deepened their understanding of Huqúqu’lláh through consultation on various topics including: the spiritual nature of the law; creating a culture of learning; the practical functioning of the Representatives; and accompaniment of the believers in their journey to understand the law more fully. An increased level of collaboration between the various institutions, and the participative nature of the programme, were key features of the event. Representatives and Deputies left with a renewed enthusiasm to share this mighty law with others.
