All believers in the United Kingdom

Dearly loved Friends,

The National Spiritual Assembly is seeking to appoint a Human Resources [HR] Officer to administer and care for a growing team of staff and volunteers. With more than 30 people now in the employ of the National Assembly in various capacities around the United Kingdom – from junior youth coordinators in neighbourhoods to staff at the National Office – the HR Officer will oversee all matters pertaining to personnel, including offering advice and support, managing recruitment, arranging staff reviews and organising training.

While some experience or training in an HR environment is desirable, applications would also be welcome from friends who are open to gaining new skills or developing their capacities while serving.
The successful candidate would ideally possess knowledge and experience of the framework of the Five Year Plan, and demonstrate the ability to apply Bahá’í principles in their personal interactions and conduct. Good communication, organisational and team-working skills are also desirable.

Envisaged initially as a two-days-per-week position, a salary is offered to enable the successful applicant to carry out their service. Applicants who are interested in, and available for, a full-time position may also be considered for providing additional support for the Office of Services at the National Ḥaẓíratu’l-Quds.

If you would like to apply for this position, you are kindly asked to submit a copy of your curriculum vitae, together with a letter sharing your reasons for applying for this service, to the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of the UK, 27 Rutland Gate, London SW7 1PD or by email to nsa@bahai.org.uk. Applications should be submitted no later than 30 November 2018. Your prayerful consideration of this opportunity to serve is deeply appreciated.

With loving Bahá’í greetings,

Patrick O’Mara, Secretary
