To all believers in the United Kingdom

Dearly loved Friends,

The National Spiritual Assembly extends the warmest of invitations to the friends to attend a special Open Day at the National Ḥazíratu’l-Quds, on Saturday 7 April, 2018.

The highlight of the day will be the display of precious archives, loaned by the Universal House of Justice for the recent bicentenary display at the British Museum. These include original examples of the handwriting of Bahá’u’lláh, the ‘revelation writing’ and reed pens of Bahá’u’lláh’s scribe, and other unique, personal items. This will be our final opportunity to see these beautiful archives before their return to the Bahá’í World Centre. The display will be augmented by pieces from the United Kingdom’s own National Bahá’í Archives.

Since there is a limit to the number of people allowed in the building at any one time, visits will be scheduled for time slots throughout the day, from 10am until 4.30pm. Preference for particular time slots, especially for friends travelling from a long distance, can be specified, although these may not always be available owing to demand.

In order to register for visits, please contact services@bahai.org.uk, specifying the names and details of those who would like to participate. Kindly include the names and ages of all children, and any friends who may have mobility issues.

The National Assembly hopes that many friends will be welcomed through the doors at 27 Rutland Gate on 7 April.

With loving Bahá’í greetings,

Patrick O’Mara,
Secretary
