Dearly loved Friends,

Dr. Firaydoun Javaheri, a former member of the Universal House of Justice, will be visiting the United Kingdom next month. The National Spiritual Assembly especially asked if Dr. Javaheri would be happy to meet with the youth and is delighted to announce that a meeting will take place on Sunday 23 December 2018 at the Ark Walworth Academy, Shorncliffe Road, London, SE1 5UJ. The doors will open at 1.30pm. The meeting will start promptly with a devotional at 2pm.

Dr. Javaheri will talk about the heroism of youth in the Faith and the critical contribution that Bahá’í youth and their friends can make to the progress of the Cause, at this time of unprecedented crisis in the history of humanity. There will also be an opportunity to ask Dr. Javaheri questions.

The gathering is open to all youth from the ages of 15 to 30. Parents and guardians may attend to accompany younger youth, although please note that the venue has a capacity of only 350 and priority seating will be given to the youth, including friends of the Faith. There is free parking on site and a frequent bus service taking 15 minutes which runs from Stop E, outside Elephant and Castle underground station, alighting at Dunton Road (Stop EC). Light refreshments will be served.

It is hoped that all youth who are able will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to hear from a special visitor, who served on the Universal House of Justice for 15 years, and has given a lifetime of service to the Faith in many parts of the world.

With loving Bahá’í greetings,

Patrick O’Mara
Secretary
