To all believers in the United Kingdom

Dearly loved Friends,

As you are no doubt aware, the National Spiritual Assembly of the United Kingdom is one of a number of National Assemblies selected by the Universal House of Justice to participate in the international financial collaboration programme.  This means the National Assembly is entrusted, at the direction of the House of Justice, to periodically assist its sister National Assemblies around the world in financial undertakings.

The National Assembly is delighted to inform you that the House of Justice has called upon our community to assist the National Spiritual Assembly of Nepal with capital expenses associated with the needs of its National Office and the Kathmandu cemetery as well as construction of a boundary wall for its Temple site. The contribution specified for the United Kingdom to raise towards this goal is US$26,500 (approximately £21,000).

For your information, the National Spiritual Assembly set a goal to raise £270,000 (£54,000 per annum) for international collaboration goals during the current Five Year Plan, 2016-2021.  Presently there is £164,565 in that fund; £32,947 of which has been raised this year.  In additional to the above, contributions have already been assigned during this Plan to assisting in the construction of the National Ḥazíratu’l-Quds in Nepal (£20,913), and projects in Liberia (£31,709).
