Recording of the online events to reflect upon the Centenary
gathering in the Holy Land

The friends will no doubt recall the three special online events, held in December, in which the spirit of the gatherings at the Bahá’í World Centre to mark the Centenary of the Passing of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá were shared by the representatives of the National Spiritual Assembly and Regional Bahá’í Councils who attended (pictured above).

An edited recording of all three meetings has now been put together, and is now available to view online here >  It is hoped that in making this available, more of you and your friends will have the opportunity to hear about this special, inspirational, and sacred moment in the history of the Faith, and that through this further connections can be made with the spirit of the Master and the love of the Universal House of Justice, which these friends carried back to us.

Calligraphers sought for Master’s Apartment project

Calligraphers with skills in either English, Persian or Arabic, who might be available to create a calligraphic work for the apartment occupied by the Beloved Master in Bristol are needed.  The refurbishment committee is seeking such artistic works, that would contribute to the atmosphere and spiritually uplifting nature of this sacred space visited twice by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá.

It is envisaged for example that the Tablet of Visitation for ‘Abdu’l-Bahá –  in both English and Arabic – will be placed on the wall of the room in which He slept. There will also be a need for other calligraphic works to be placed in other locations in the apartment.

If you feel you could contribute a piece of work to the apartment please contact the committee through Mrs. Lesley Taherzadeh O’Mara at lesleytahmara@gmail.com at the earliest opportunity.
