Dearly loved Friends,
The National Spiritual Assembly was deeply saddened to learn that Dr. John Parris, a member of the Bahá’í Council for Scotland, has recently been diagnosed with a serious illness. Our fervent supplications are offered on behalf of John and his loved ones, that they may be immersed in the sustaining grace of the Blessed Beauty at this difficult time, and that they may ever be the recipients of His tender mercies.
John has stepped down from service on the Council with immediate effect, and we take this opportunity to thank him for all the outstanding services that he has rendered for the Cause in this particular capacity.
Please note that, as the re-election of the Council will be taking place in the weeks ahead, there will be no replacement member.
