The National Spiritual Assembly sends you its warmest greetings.

It is delighted to share with you the names of those who will serve on the Regional Bahá’í Councils for the coming year, commencing on 25 November, the Day of the Covenant. Those serving on the Councils for England and Scotland were elected, and those serving on the Councils for Northern Ireland and Wales were appointed by the National Assembly, in consultation with Counsellor Shirin Fozdar-Foroudi, and having due regard for the lists of confidential nominations received from the ballots of Local Assembly members and the Auxiliary Board members in those regions. The members of the Regional Councils are as follows:

We take this opportunity to express our deep appreciation to Soha Graham-Anderson, Malath Abbas, Wendy Borrill, Hannah Moshtael-Oskui, William Jenkins and Azar Melville, who will no longer serve as members of Regional Councils and who will undoubtedly continue their distinguished efforts advance the Cause of Bahá’u’lláh. Our love and prayers are with them and their dear families.

As we advance rapidly through the opening chapter of the current Plan, leading towards the auspicious period of the bicentenary anniversaries of the Twin Holy Birthdays, and as the herculean work to which we are summoned by the Universal House of Justice gathers pace, the National Assembly wishes to express its utmost gratitude to the dear friends who serve on the Councils, whose sacrificial labours play such an essential role in carrying forward the processes of expansion and consolidation. Our prayers are offered on their behalf, and we urge individuals, communities and institutions everywhere to join us in offering supplications that the endeavours of the Councils may attract manifold confirmations.

With loving Bahá’í greetings,
