To the Bahá’ís of the United Kingdom

Dearly loved Friends,

Further to yesterday’s letter concerning the membership of the Regional Bahá’í Councils for England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, the National Spiritual Assembly is pleased to announce that it has appointed the following individuals to serve on the Bahá’í Council for Wales for the coming year:

Tessa Abbas, Louise Doughty, Sima Hedges, Bill Jenkins, Azar Melville

These individuals were appointed in consultation with Counsellor Shirin Fozdar-Foroudi, and having due regard for the lists of confidential nominations received from the ballots of Local Assembly members in Wales and the Auxiliary Board members who serve that region.

The National Assembly takes this opportunity to express its deep appreciation to Tracey Roberts-Jones for the devoted, outstanding services she rendered to the Council, including as its Secretary, in recent years. Our love and prayers are with her and her dear family.

With loving Bahá’í greetings,

National Spiritual Assembly

Patrick O’Mara,
Secretary
