To all believers in the United Kingdom

Dearly loved Friends,

In recent months, the National Spiritual Assembly has been consulting with Counsellor Shirin Fozdar-Foroudi about the provision of Bahá’í literature, and the integral role it plays in the teaching work.  The accessibility and flow of literature is vital to our ability to respond to large numbers of enquirers, seizing opportunities when they arise, working in clusters and neighbourhoods, and supporting and strengthening the institute process.

In light of this, the National Assembly has decided that it will fully subsidise a number of titles so that they are available to the friends in the UK free of charge including postage. These include all of the Ruhi Institute books in all languages, all of the Junior Youth books and all pre-publication Ruhi and Junior Youth books.

Published Ruhi books are available here >
Published Junior Youth books are available here >
Pre-Publication materials are only available by contacting the Training Institute Board at tibmaterials@bahai.org.uk.

The following small books are also now available free of charge:
Prayers – Ten different prayers for different occasions with a short introduction about the Faith, here >

Hidden Words and Selected Holy Writings – A pocket-size edition of the Hidden Words with a small compilation of the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, the Báb and ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, here >

Given that there is a high demand for literature during the summer months to serve the various projects and campaigns, you are encouraged to place your orders for literature now. Furthermore, the National Assembly has also decided that certain neighbourhoods, clusters and coordinators are to stock sufficient amounts of literature so that it is readily available at all times.

The National Assembly continues to pray that all of the teaching efforts of the friends will be confirmed by the blessings of Bahá’u’lláh.

With loving Bahá’í greetings,

Patrick O’Mara,
Secretary
