ISGP Undergraduate Seminar 2021: Registration open

Registration is now open for this summer’s seminars for undergraduate students offered by the Institute for Studies in Global Prosperity (ISGP).

Developments related to the coronavirus pandemic are being closely followed. Depending on the circumstances, the seminar will either be offered from 5 to 15 August 2021 at Wellington College, Berkshire or alternative arrangements will be made.

These seminars are a highly valued part of the rhythm of our community life, and an integral element of the educational processes that begin with children’s classes and continue through the Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Programme and courses of the Institute process, as well as being an essential contributor to the movement of youth.

A video introduction to the seminars has been prepared and is available to download here

There will be four seminars running in parallel:

  • Year 4 seminar open to those who have previously completed Year 3
  • Year 3 seminar open to those who have previously completed Year 2
  • Year 2 seminar open to those who have previously completed Year 1
  • Year 1 seminar for those starting the programme

The total cost of participating – if the seminar is to be residential – is yet to be confirmed but will be between £280-£360. While every effort has been made to keep the price down, youth should not feel unable to apply because of the cost.  Those who require financial assistance are encouraged to approach their Local Spiritual Assembly in the first instance.  If further assistance is required, please contact the ISGP undergraduate UK seminars coordinating team.  They will be able to help explore other possibilities for raising the funds necessary to participate.

All those wishing to attend should register by the 7th Junehere.

It is hoped that as many Bahá’í university students as possible will be able to attend these seminars, which are of such value in shaping a coherent life of service. If you have any questions or would like further information please contact the UK seminars coordinating team.
