Dearly loved friends,
The National Spiritual Assembly is writing to share with you the news that Mr. Soheyl Azordegan and Mrs. Roya Azordegan will be retiring as custodians of the Guardian’s Resting Place in May 2022 after seven years of distinguished service.
The National Assembly extends its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. and Mrs. Azordegan on its own behalf and on behalf of the entire Bahá’í community for all of their devoted services, including overseeing the restoration and upkeep of the Resting Place, sensitively caring for the Bahá’í cemetery, and welcoming and hosting visitors. They will be deeply missed and we wish them every happiness and joy in their future services to the Cause.
We are pleased to inform you that Mrs. Foujan Jenner and Mr. David Jenner have been appointed by the Universal House of Justice as the new custodians of Shoghi Effendi’s Resting Place and they will commence their service on 30 May 2022.
Our love and prayers are with them as they take up this unique and significant service.
