‘Discovering Sacred Texts’ at the British Library

The British Library has launched an ambitious Discovering Sacred Texts online learning website.

To coincide with the launch of new website, which has a number of pages devoted to the Bábí and Bahá’í Faiths,  there is a display case in the British Library’s Treasures Gallery, open to the public, containing three Bahá’í manuscripts including a rare and beautiful Haykal Tablet in the handwriting of the Báb and childhood calligraphy exercises by Bahá’u’lláh.  The manuscripts are on show for six months. 

A specially commissioned blog article, ‘Marking the bicentenary of the Birth of the Báb’ has also been posted on the British Library website.
