All Believers in the United Kingdom

Dearly loved friends,

The National Spiritual Assembly has been delighted to learn that a good number of the friends and communities have been availing themselves of the opportunity to visit the priceless items associated with the life of Bahá’u’lláh currently on display at the British Museum.

It can now be confirmed that the cabinet will be in place until Monday 22 January 2018. The Museum has informed us however that specific galleries may occasionally have to close at short notice owing to staff availability. With this in mind, friends may wish to check this British Museum website page to make sure that the John Addis Gallery (Room 34) is open on the day they intend to visit: http://www.britishmuseum.org/visiting/opening_times/gallery_closures.aspx
It may also be useful to note that the Museum has no facilities for storing larger bags or items of luggage and that such items will not be accepted into the Museum’s cloakrooms for safekeeping.

The Museum is closed on 24, 25, 26 December and 1 January, but is all other days from 1000hrs to 1730hrs. On Fridays, the Museum closes at 2030hrs. If you are planning to combine your visit to the Museum with a visit to the National Ḥazíratu’l-Quds, kindly contact services@bahai.org.uk to ascertain whether your group can be accommodated on the date and time you plan to visit.

With loving Bahá’í greetings,

Patrick O’Mara,
Secretary
