Dearly loved Friends,
Miss Sara Talai, a member of the National Spiritual Assembly, has been invited to serve at the Bahá’í World Centre and has therefore requested to step down from service on the National Assembly. We wish to acknowledge, with profound gratitude, the outstanding contribution that Sara has made to the work of the National Assembly and to the wonderful spirit she brought to its consultations and endeavours. She will be greatly missed, but we take joy in the knowledge that she will have many special opportunities to continue serving the Faith with distinction in the Holy Land.
An immediate by-election is therefore being called to fill this vacancy on the National Assembly. The delegates to National Convention 2016 will receive instructions and ballot papers in the coming days.
