Some 90 guests, including 40 friends of the Faith, attended the celebration in Tower Hamlets, London.  At the heart of the celebration was the use of the arts, much of which had been prepared by friends in the months preceding the celebration.  Conversation questions were placed on each dinner table, stimulating meaningful conversations about service among the guests. A calendar of upcoming gatherings was given out, including upcoming devotional gatherings, two discussion evenings and firesides, and invitations to children’s classes.

In York, more than 60 friends of the Faith, including 25 from the focused Groves neighbourhood, attended a screening of Dawn of the Light at the Everyman Cinema. Afterwards conversations were held in each row of the cinema about the questions raised in the film.

The British Library has published a second online article to mark the bicentenary with an account of one of its most important manuscripts, the Star Tablet written in the Báb’s own hand.

For Brentwood, Billericay and Chelmsford, the bicentenary event was attended by more than 80 people, of which half were friends of the Faith.  The youth performed a play about the life of the Báb. There will be follow up gatherings to watch Dawn of the Light and new spaces for prayers and reflections are being created in different homes.

More than 60 people, half of them friends of the Faith, joined in the festivities in Worthing. The film provoked a lot of interest and many meaningful conversations.  The October 2019 letter of the Universal House of Justice was offered to attendees, along with a small gift of flowers.  Guests were invited to devotionals, a Ruhi Book 1 taster and children’s classes.  Further conversations and home visits will be taking place throughout November.
