Dearly loved Friends,
More than two months have now passed since the dedication of the Mother Temple of South America in Santiago, Chile, and the National Spiritual Assembly has been delighted to learn of numerous special devotional meetings organized to coincide with this momentous occasion, as well as gatherings convened around the United Kingdom to watch online the events as they happened.
We were recently thrilled to receive word from the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Chile that the “spiritual forces that have been liberated by the Temple together with the supplications of those thousands of souls gathered during the Dedication, and the friends that pray continuously in this sacred spot, are now having a remarkable impact on the city of Santiago.”
Since its official opening, wrote the Chilean National Assembly on 23 December, more than 50,000 souls have visited the House of Worship:
“We have been deeply moved by the various beautiful and uplifting messages received from communities all over the world, and have felt the love and fellowship of our spiritual brothers and sisters throughout these months. The National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Chile would like to convey its loving affection and profound gratitude to your beloved Assembly, as well as all the believers in your community, for the words of love and support which were received on the occasion of the Dedication.
“We kindly ask for your prayers so that we may respond to all the souls that are coming to the House of Worship seeking the life-giving waters of the Almighty. Please extend to all the friends our warmest greetings and we pray for the success of all your endeavors for our beloved Faith.”
