General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

The new General Data Protection Regulation – known as GDPR – was introduced last month.  In order to comply, the National Spiritual Assembly has issued an updated Privacy Declaration to all believers.  This declaration can be viewed at the UK Bahá’í Resources website, here.  Alternatively, if you require a hard copy, please request it from the National Office.

The Privacy Declaration provides full details about the ways in which the National Assembly handles personal data, the lawful basis and purposes for which it is processing that data, and an individual’s rights under the new regulation.  If you have any questions or comments, please address them to gdpr@bahai.org.uk
