To all believers in the United Kingdom

Dearly loved friends,

In its message of 18 May 2016, concerning the forthcoming bicentenary of the Birth of Bahá’u’lláh, the Universal House of Justice called upon us to “reach out to the widest possible cross-section of society…so that all may rejoice in the appearance, exactly two hundred years before, of One Who was to be the Bearer of a new Message for humankind.”

In response to this call and in honour of the occasion, the National Spiritual Assembly offered to Her Majesty The Queen – as well as the senior women members of the Royal Family – the gift of a specially commissioned calligraphic rendering, beautifully framed, of the prayer revealed by Bahá’u’lláh for Queen Victoria. (See attached photograph)

We are now delighted to inform you that HM The Queen, HRH The Princess Royal and HRH The Countess of Wessex have all agreed to receive this gift and arrangements are now being made for their suitable delivery.

This, dear friends, is but one of the countless offerings of “ardent love, yielded collectively to Him Who is the Unifier of the world on the bicentenary of His Birth.” May the efforts of all of His loved ones attract His confirmations and blessings.

With loving Bahá’í greetings,

Patrick O’Mara,
Secretary
