New volume of Tablets of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá
As we draw closer to the centenary of the Ascension of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, the Universal House of Justice has today announced publication of a new volume of Tablets in English translation titled Light of the World: Selected Tablets of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá. A letter to all National Spiritual Assemblies dated 30 April 2021, from the Department of the Secretariat, states:
The seventy-six selections chosen for this book cover the entire period of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s ministry. They describe aspects of the life of Bahá’u’lláh—the tribulations He suffered, events in His homeland, the purpose and greatness of His Cause, and the unparalleled nature and significance of His Covenant, as well as the relentless but futile efforts to undermine and destroy it. Many of these Tablets reflect parallels between Bahá’u’lláh’s sufferings and those that the Master Himself endured during His lifetime.
The book, published in hardcover, will be available in due course from Bahá’í Books UK.
