Dearly loved Friends,
The Universal House of Justice, in a letter written on its behalf to this National Spiritual Assembly dated 20 October 2019, describes how “the operation of the Bahá’í World Centre depends on a reliable flow of capable believers from throughout the world who are in a position to devote a period of full-time service at the spiritual and administrative heart of the Faith.” This United Kingdom community has responded wonderfully to the needs at the World Centre, but there is a need for a continuous flow of friends to arise to give periods of service to the Universal House of Justice. At present there is considerable need for friends both with specialized experience and qualifications and also youth who are eager to offer a year of service.
In light of this, the National Assembly is organising online meetings, where a presentation will be made by a representative of the Office of Personnel at the Bahá’í World Centre. The Assembly is delighted to announce two meetings in the coming months. It is hoped that these meetings will raise the level of awareness within the UK Bahá’í community of the staffing requirements and about life and service at the World Centre in general. The details for these meetings are as follows.
