Dearly loved Friends,
The National Spiritual Assembly wishes to share with you that the dates for the next unit convention will be between Saturday 18 November and Sunday 3 December 2017.
As was the case with the recently held unit conventions, a window of time in which the convention can be held is offered, with the final choice of date being left to the discretion of the unit host. Unit hosts are in the process of being appointed and will be sent further information to assist in their preparations. They will be asked to identify the date and venue, which they will communicate to the believers within the unit.
With respect to dates, an exception is provided to the ‘Shetland & Orkney Islands’ and the ‘North Highlands & Western Islands’ units, which for reasons of transport may hold their unit conventions between early September and mid-October.
By indicating these dates early, it is hoped that as many friends as possible will have the bounty of participating in unit convention, which is an integral element in the rhythm of Bahá’í community life.
