Finance Officer – service position at the National Hazíratu’l-Quds

The National Spiritual Assembly is pleased to share with you news about a service position that has opened up within the Treasury Office based at the National Office, 27 Rutland Gate in London.

Full Time/Part Time Finance Officer
This can be a part time paid position of 20 to 25 hours per week or a full time position. A salary, sufficient to cover reasonable living costs, is being offered by the National Assembly to enable the successful candidate to carry out this service. However, as with all service to the Faith, it may be done on a voluntary or part-voluntary basis also. The initial service period is two-years, subject to review at the end of the period.

Skills
The National Assembly is looking to appoint a person with good accounting knowledge, proficient in using Sage and also with strong Microsoft Office skills i.e. Excel, Word and Power Point. An accounting degree or equivalent qualification would also be an advantage but is not an essential requirement.

The person who would be a team player and able to work independently, and would also be responsible for monitoring the flow of correspondence in and out of the office. In this light a good level of communication, writing and organisational skills is required along with an ability to plan and prioritise a range of tasks.
