Service position at the National Hazíratu’l-Quds – Finance Assistant

The National Assembly is pleased to share with you news of a full-time service position of Finance Officer that has opened within the Finance Office based at the National Office at 27 Rutland Gate in London.
Full-Time Administrative Assistance / Accounts
The post holder’s responsibilities will include working closely with the Finance Office Co-ordinator:
- Filing and archiving financial records
- Supporting the co-ordination of Finance Office volunteer staff
- Inputting and receipting of contributions
- Responding to queries from donors and suppliers
- Liaising with bank and insurers
- Coordinating Local Assembly accounts in preparation for the audit
It is also intended that this post holder, in addition to carrying out the above functions, will offer administrative/secretarial support to the Treasurer of the National Spiritual Assembly, aiding the holder of that position to carry out the many and varied tasks that the role demands.
Skills
The National Assembly is looking to appoint a person with clerical knowledge or other professional equivalent qualifications including good knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Excel. The person would be a team player, and be able to work independently. They will need a good command of English, excellent verbal and written communication skills, organisational skills and attention to details.
This is a full-time 5 days per week paid position. A salary is being offered by the National Assembly to enable the successful candidate to carry out this service. However, as with all service to the Faith, it may be done on a voluntary or part-voluntary basis too. The minimum service period is two-years, subject to review at the end of the period.
