To all believers in the United Kingdom

Dearly loved Friends,

Visiting the Resting Place of Shoghi Effendi in London is a spiritual bounty for all – whether individually, in groups with our friends and families, as neighbourhoods, communities and institutions.

To encourage the believers and their friends to avail themselves regularly of the opportunity to make visits to pray at this sacred spot, the National Spiritual Assembly has prepared a message in the form of a short video.  It includes beautiful images that show the extent of the restoration and re-development work that has taken place at the New Southgate Cemetery in recent years.

The National Assembly is asking all Local Spiritual Assemblies and Groups to show the video at a forthcoming Nineteen Day Feast and share it with other friends during home visits and in other settings.  Consultation could also be held to discuss the possibility of making group visits to the Guardian’s Resting Place from all parts of the United Kingdom as a regular feature of the community’s calendar.
