To all believers in the United Kingdom

Dearly loved Friends,

At around noon today, the National Spiritual Assembly took possession of the newly acquired Bahá’í Training Centre at Arncott, near Bicester in Oxfordshire.  This significant development was marked by the placing of a portrait of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá within the premises.

The acquisition will facilitate the training and education of thousands of individuals, who – drawing on the Word of God and applying the teachings of Bahá’u’lláh – will contribute to the spiritual and social well-being of their communities.

As a team of friends prepare for the first intensive training event taking place over the coming holiday period, a process of learning now begins about how to use the Centre to greatest effect.  It is a process that every Bahá’í can contribute to: whether through serving as a volunteer, a tutor, an animator or a teacher; through making generous, sacrificial donations that are greatly needed to support the acquisition – the largest ever single financial outlay for the National Spiritual Assembly – and ongoing running costs of the Centre; or in providing the support that many individuals will need, whether practical or financial, to enable them to participate in the training programmes.

We call upon the community to now join the National Spiritual Assembly, which meets this coming weekend, in prayer that Bahá’u’lláh may enable the Bahá’í Training Centre, to bear the fruit that is envisaged for it.

With loving Bahá’í greetings,

Patrick O’Mara,
Secretary
