The National Spiritual Assembly is seeking a volunteer who can serve in a part- or full-time capacity to support the Bahá’í Council for England and training institute board in a vital task.

As the work towards achieving the goals of the Five Year Plan builds, there has been a necessary increase in all kinds of gatherings, meetings and training events being organised throughout England, as well as an increase in their regularity throughout the year. The task of organising suitable venues – and the associated logistics for such a substantial calendar of events – cannot be undertaken by institutions alone.

Key aspects of this role include:

Ensuring that venues and logistics for institutional events organised across England are coordinated in an effective and economical manner.

  • Working with institutions to identify the requirements and types of venues to meet the needs for the process of growth.
  • Finding suitable and economical venues, working with both the Events and Logistics committee and others at the level of the cluster and the neighbourhood.
  • Strengthening a group of individuals at the level of the cluster and neighbourhood to offer logistical support to events in their area.
  • Gaining personal practical experience of the work of the Five Year Plan and willingness to be part of a learning environment at the heart of the process of growth being nurtured.

This critical service opportunity would be ideally suited to someone living and serving in the Greater London, Greater Manchester or Thames Valley clusters. Others living elsewhere, however, are encouraged to apply. If you are interested to assist, please email nsa@bahai.org.uk for further details.
