Dear Friends,
The Bahá’i Council for Scotland is delighted to announce the holding of a series of Youth Gatherings in Scotland to be held this coming October/November. These gatherings are intended to build on the momentum from the historic London youth conference last year and will follow a similar pattern. They will bring together youth from all backgrounds who are eager to play their part in the transformation of society. In advance of the gatherings, facilitators will be appointed to work with groups locally before, during and after the events themselves.
The gatherings will take place as follows:
North – Kirkwall, Orkney Isles – Friday October 17 – Saturday October 18 (for Shetland, Orkney, Western Isles and North Highland clusters)
West – Glasgow – Saturday October 25 to Sunday October 26 (for Clyde, West Highland and South West clusters)
East – Dundee – Saturday November 1 to Sunday November 2 (for North East, Forth and Borders clusters)
Further details about the events and how to register will follow. In the meantime please book these dates as appropriate in your diaries and encourage those you know to consider attending.
The Council has been requested to organise these gatherings by the National Assembly and is sure that the whole community will arise to ensure that every youth who wants to attend is able to.
